The Brilliant White Plus Line by Miele
I'm not complaining, mind you, but it's not every day that I, as a product reviewer, get to analyze, dissect, and expound upon something as abstract as the color white. And though Miele's new line of blindingly beautiful and crisply clean appliances does ultimately include items as ostensibly mundane as cooktops and stoves, the Brilliant White Plus Collection elevates them to a supernal realm.
Miele's Brilliant White Plus Line Encompasses Convection Oven, Steam Oven, Cooktop, and Coffee System
The new line has been anticipated for quite some time, as Miele perfected their design in order to pay tribute to none other than Mies van der Rohe, whose renowned Farnsworth House epitomized modernist domestic architecture in its use of white-in all its elusive incarnations: "combining transparent continuous glass walls with pristine white steel framing, Farnsworth house created a classically minimalist structure."
The Brilliant White Plus Line would have done Mies proud. Featuring clean, seamless, geometric lines and a subtle linear silhouette, the Brilliant White Plus appliances will easily integrate within any space. Gleaming white glass doors and intuitive Navitronic touch controls complete the picture of these "understatedly elegant appliances which celebrate the color white."
About the Manufacturer: You don't have to know German to understand the Miele company philosophy of "Immer Besser." This mantra of perpetual improvement informs everything Miele does, whether it's creating the world's foremost brand of whisper-quiet dishwashers and washing machines; devising a refrigerator that's well-nigh indistinguishable from the rest of the wall; or concocting an oven that uses residual heat for double cooking times at half the energy cost.
