DigitalSpeck by Manning Lighting
is a new line of solid state lighting products from Manning Lighting that aim to utilize the unique attributes of LED and OLED technology to create distinctive, dimensional designs.
DigitalSpeck takes advantage of the clean sculptural forms that can be acheived using LED and OLED technology.
Launched at the end of last year, there are currently nine contemporary designs within the collection including the Stretch sconce (above), a plane of edge-lit acrylic suspended between two LED sources for an intriguing, playful appearance. Stretch’s acrylic panel contains an embedded microlens pattern that tightly controls the light path to maximize LED output and minimize glare.
Also in the collection is the Planar-Horizontal Core (above) – a sculptural piece that reinterprets the familiar bowl or cone shaped pendant using edge-lit planes. The X-shaped horizontal LED core contains four 9-watt LED engines that illuminate the acrylic below. Each panel contains an embedded microlens pattern that tightly controls the light path to maximize LED output and minimize glare.
