For those that are feeling the cold this winter, the heat-enhancing Stove Tiles by Daniel Becker Design Studio could be what you need.

The Berlin ceramic stove tiles feature attractive geometric patterns that help the tiles to radiate more heat.

The three-dimensional pattern increases the surface area of the tiles, so they lose heat faster and in turn warm the room more effectively.

Developed in collaboration with stove and fireplace companies Kaufmann Keramik and Brunner Kachelöfen, the Berlin tiles were recently shortlisted for the Interior innovation award 2013 at German trade show imm cologne.

About the designer: Daniel Becker is a young dersigner based in Berlin, Germany. Having studied Industrial Design at Braunschweig University of Art, Becker has designed an impressive portfolio of lighting and furniture which he has exhibited at trade shows including, imm Cologne and Ambiente and Light + Building in Frankfurt.
