The sensor is strategically placed on the underside of the spout, to make use both precise and natural. When hands are full or messy tasks need to be completed, users simply wave their hand, cup, pan or kitchen utensil through the activation area to start or halt the waterflow.

In addition to being convenient, the hands free function also helps to reduce the spread of germs and mess around the kitchen. The faucet operates off an AC power source but a manual mode is also available in case of power outage. Sensate is equipped with both spray and stream functions for effective cleaning while a magnetic docking system in the faucet's spout securely locks the sprayhead into place.

Sensate features a black bonnet as standard but finish-matched bonnets are also available to match the available finishes of Polished Chrome and Vibrant Stainless.
