Surfaces manufacturers are coming up with more and more ways to give recycled materials another chance. From reclaimed wood to recycled tires, these materials are making a good second impression:
Old Wood Collection by Devon & Devon: The new collection is fabricated from wood salvaged from renovations to vintage homes and restored to enhance its unique characteristics. Starshine core by Starshine: Appropriate for floors, wall panels, or other interior applications, panels are composed of Starshine recycled raw material granulate between a layer of laminated glass. Re-Tire by Capri Cork: Created of a random mix of post-consumer SBR tire waste and EPDM rubber granules. Re-Tire is FloorScore certified and contributes to LEED credits.
