40 some years after the philosophical coup d'etat that was Frank Gehry's Wiggle Chair, the eco-innovators of the world have found a new use for cardboard. The particular visionaries in question hail from Fabbian Illuminazione, P-One, and Studio Pamio Design, a trio of collaborators who've molded this most utilitarian of materials into a collection of clever and comely floor lamps.

Cardboard Lamps by Fabbian Illuminazione are Strong and Shapely

Back in 1972 Gehry showed the world that cardboard could be structurally sound. Today, Fabbian, P-One, and Studio Pamio show that it's stylish too. Fabbian offers the lamps in various shapes, sizes, and shades: from the futuristic and squared off "Barcode" to the enigmatically towering totem.

Each of the four styles can be specified in a panoply of vibrant colors and patterns, including pinstripes of various thicknesses and designs that showcase the unique honeycombed structure of the cardboard itself.
