Rugs by David Weeks for Christopher Farr at Ralph Pucci
To celebrate a collaboration with Ralph Pucci that began ten years ago in 2002, award-winning designer David Weeks has debuted his first ever collection of rugs for Christopher Farr at the New York-based furniture gallery.
Using Weeks' subtle mastery of curves, the Onda & Bulle rugs are richly layered to evoke depth
Inspired by artists like Diebenkorn and Giacometti, the rug designs draw on his background as an artist and sculptor as well as a designer/maker.
The Onda & Bulle rugs are part of a wider collection by Weeks that includes a new series of lighting as well as his first fiberglass chair. All pieces are exhibited as part of Weeks’ seventh show at Pucci.
The designs are each available in two color ways; a bright mix of warm red and orange hues or a more subdued blue, grey and brown palette. A limited edition of 10 of each color way have been produced.
