Virco introduces Civitas Chairs
Knowing that each common area environment has unique requirements, school furniture manufacturer Virco has designed its new Civitas collection with three different seating component choices in order to cater to a wider range of applications.
The Civitas line is expressly designed to meet the furniture needs of common areas in K-12 schools, college and universities, food service environments, lounges and other venues where people gather.
Customers can choose to outfit their Civitas seating with one of two injection-molded shells or with an individual seat and back. The ZUMA® shell provides comfortable seating solutions for a wide range of body types, while the generously proportioned Sageâ„¢ shell is for environments where upholstered seating is desired. Civitas models with a Sage shell can be specified with a color-coordinated seat pad. The Civitas collection also includes chairs and stools with an independent seat and back from the award-winning ZUMAfrdâ„¢ line. Made from proprietary Fortified Recycled Woodâ„¢ hard plastic, these two-piece components combine effective support with enhanced sustainability.
The frames are available with 18″ seat-height chairs, 25″ seat-height stools, 30″ seat-height stools, or a combination of these three configurations. So confident are Virco in this new line, that additional Civitas seating items and a complete line of Civitas tables are now under development.
