Style Moderne by Samuel Heath
Art Deco design continues to inspire modern interpretations, especially by companies founded on a strong sense of high-quality manufacturing such as Samuel Heath. Established in 1820, the company predates the designs that inspired its Style Moderne line of bathroom fittings by almost a century, but has brought history and innovation together to create a collection that includes basin, bath, and bidet tap options, a selection of concealed and exposed shower valves, and a range of other accessories.
The Art Deco movement’s inspirations, including Cubism, Futurism, rectilinear forms, and geometric shapes are updated for modern bathrooms
Named after the original term for the Art Deco movement, the collection incorporates stepped forms and geometric shapes associated with the classic styles of the 20s and 30s. Each piece in the line will be available in polished nickel, chrome plate, and antique gold, with options for black chrome or main body finish controls. Pieces are handcrafted from pure brass, then hand-polished and plated for a high-quality finish.
"We are extremely excited about launching the Style Moderne collection,” says Vanessa Allan, marketing manager at Samuel Heath. “The design possibilities with the new collection are far-reaching and inspirational, and we're confident that the new collection will be popular with designers and specifiers alike."
