Origami LED Light by Peerless
The new Origami LED from Peerless Lighting takes its shape from the ancient Japanese art of paper folding, but its minimalist form also represents a less-is-more philosophy for manufacturing and energy consumption.
Offered in suspended and wall-mounted versions, the light's advanced optics allows fewer units to illuminate more surface area in group applications
The lamp's thing-gauge aluminum housing is manufactured with approximately 50 percent less material than traditional extruded aluminum fixtures, according to the manufacturer. Its multifaceted shape also reflects light in many directions, increasing the illuminated area whether used alone or as a group.
Inside, the LED module is designed to contribute to a building's LEED credits with technology that can deliver 50,000, or 12 to 15 years, of normal light output. When specified with options including daylight and occupancy sensors, a lumen-output monitor that extends LED longevity, and an nLight module that can control the lights in rows, rooms, buildings, or entire campus networks, the luminaires can save even more energy over their lifetime.
An extension of the existing Origami product line from Peerless, the LED fixture is available in 4- and 8-foot lengths in four standard colors (gloss red, back, white and painted aluminum), or a full range of custom colors.
The Origami LED is available nationally through Acuity Brands sales representatives and authorized distributors.
