Lighting with functionality and a sense of humor seems doubly bright. The TamTam, family created by Berlin-based designer Fabien Dumas for Marset, aims to fill both roles.

The lacquered satellite shades of the TamTam suspension lamp can be rotated 360 degrees

Released this year, the group of lighting includes a wall-mounted lamp with a lacquered aluminum shade that can rotate 360 degrees and is ideal for bedside lighting. A double-shaded version can provide both direct and indirect lighting at once. TamTam mini is a suspension lamp with one central shade and three or five rotating satellites available in six colors. Each lamp comes with an opalescent methacrylate diffuser.

About the Designer: Berlin based product designer Fabien Dumas was born 1976 in Fort de France, Martinique, and graduated from Berlin University of Art (HdK), as Diplom Designer for Industrial Design in 2003. Since 2004 his products are part of the collection of Ingo Maurer, Marset, DARK or DH PH. He also worked as a freelance designer for Arne Quinze at Quinze&Milan in Kortrijk, Belgium in 2006.
