Online design shop Fab.com just got a bit more fab; on September 1 the site launched a new partnership with everyone’s favorite funny-fresh furniture manufacturer, Blu Dot.

The new line marks the first time Blu Dot reworked existing pieces in exclusive colors for another company

For four weeks in September, Fab will sell some of Blu Dot’s classics in new colors created exclusively for the members-only online store. The new products include large and side-table sizes of the Strut table, the laser-cut Real Good Chair, the walnut-and-steel Cant Desk, and the three-leafed LilyPad coffee table.

“Blu Dot has partnered with Herman Miller and Urban Outfitters in the past, and we’re happy to continue their history of collaboration,” says Bradford Shellhammer, Fab’s resident tastemaker and CDO. “This collection contains some of our favorite BD pieces covered in a new, Fab-chosen palette.” Fab is offering Blu Dot design staples in bright orange, blue, and crisp white. As the world heads back to school this fall, it’s just the lesson we all need in color theory.
