Dinner always tastes better when you know someone else is doing the dishes. GE says its new dishwasher system will step up to the task every time with three pressurized jets that spray off food particles from every direction.

GE says its new models deliver 65 percent more wash power to each rack compared to previous models

The dishwashers aim to eliminate pre-rinsing with a patented hard-food disposal, and GE’s Wash Zones system makes cleaning up after an intimate dinner for two easier-and greener-with programs that clean a load on the top or bottom rack (each with its own silverware basket) but still allow the user to use special cycles and options like sanitize or steam pre-wash. For larger loads, an adjustable top rack can lower to fit 10 1/2″ plates or rise to fit large items like cookie sheets and cutting boards on the bottom rack.

To purchase the new dishwasher, look for Model GDT550HGD with an MSRP of $599 or GDT550HSD with a stainless exterior of $699 (resellers determine their own resell price). The dishwasher is available at all GE authorized resellers.
