Carpet manufacturers Shaw Hospitality Group have launched a new range of carpets for guest rooms and public spaces that fuse colors from nature with cutting edge design. Called Vivid Palette, the carpets were a collaboration between Shaw Hospitality Group’s Design Team and students at the Savannah College of Art and Design.

The ancient art of natural dyeing inspires a striking range of contemporary carpets

Students were asked to create original fiber art projects using natural dyed fibers and traditional techniques. These experimental projects then became the inspiration for the collection. “The natural dyes of beets, madder root, onion skins and rust opened our designers' eyes to a brave new color palette." says Maria Scott, Shaw Hospitality Group Design Manager.

Vivid Palette is comprised of color customizable tufted and Eco Evolutionâ„¢ dye-injected print carpet patterns, which are manufactured with Cradle to Cradle certified Eco Solution Q® Nylon.
