There when you need them, easy to store when you don't: That's the concept behind the new Allround stacking chair from Stylex, which launched at NeoCon earlier this year.

Designed by Boris Berlin and his new partner, Aleksej Iskos, Allround is the strong, silent (or at least soft-spoken) type

"We set out to create a simple, well-functioning chair that had a quiet but strong identity," said Berlin. "Our goal was to make the Allround both comfortable and harmonious." The chairs can blend into a range of architectural settings, from intimate conference rooms to cafes and large auditoriums.

Allround's wooden seat, with ten finish choices, is molded for ergonomic support. Its steel-tube frame is available in twelve powder-coat paint colors. Models with a sled base can be stored in stacks of ten on the floor or in stacks of eighteen on a dolly. The chair has a high recyclable content and carries Greenguard certification.
