Textile house Brentano's collection for Fall 2012 has been inspired by the great artists of the world. Comprised of 14 textiles, the collection is the brainchild of Design Director Iris Wang and her team who had been contemplating an artwork-inspired collection for over a decade.
Each of Gallery's 14 textiles are influenced directly by a specific artwork and feature sumptuous textures and delicate details.
The Brentano team examined the form, the content and the feelings evoked by each artwork and then translated them into fabric form, taking into consideration details such as the fiber content, weave, and coloring methods.
The Gallery Collection includes a minimalist drapery called Stella, an ultra-luxurious textile called Tamara, a voided-velvet called Cloudscape, and the intricate Quinan.
