Happy Apple Lamps by Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari for Pedrali
“A sphere? Not exactly…On the ground it looks as it’s sprouting up, while hanging it recalls a ripe fruit on a tree” says the Italian design duo of Alberto Basaglia and Natalia Rota Nodari about their new Happy Apple lamps for Pedrali. Many of us who adore the little things – like swooning over the natural design of a piece of fruit or a plant – interpret the beauty of fruit they speak of all too well.

Get Happy with the Italian-Made, Apple-Shaped, Green Lighting Design by Pedrali
Slice, dice, peel, or bite into it. Apples as a fruit, and even Happy Apple lamps like these, are versatile. The hanging lamp is obvious, but the Italian-made globe pendants also come in floor and wall hung versions and can be placed indoors or outdoors to create a radiant space wherever you please.
Going beyond the call of duty as an aesthetic piece, Basaglia and Rota Nodari also made their bright Pedrali creation green. The three sizes of rotomoulded polyethylene available are essential to the energy-saving types also as they save energy by using efficient bulbs and a glowing material to emit light across expansive dining tables, bedrooms and patios alike.
Inedible but delightfully indellible as it were, the Happy Apple lamps by Pedrali are something of a hanging, floor or wall spectacle, glowing like a perfect apple ready for picking.
