The PCH Bedroom Series by MASHstudios
The PCHseries by Manufacturer MASHstudios captures an essential quality of Southern California. For those dyed-in-the-wool Easterners who’ve never had the pleasure of a driving trip along this Westernmost rugged coast, the Pacific Coast Highway runs the length of the state, all the way from Crescent City down to San Diego. As such, it’s a distinctive California icon and the namesake of this bold bedroom collection.

MASHstudios’ PCH Bedroom Ensemble Blends the Beautiful Tones of Teak with the Rugged Patina of Cast Aluminum
As MASHstudios says, “Like the road’s gorgeous scenery, the PCHseries is simultaneously sophisticated and relaxed.” The sentiment may not mean much for someone who’s never taken the drive, but if you’ve seen even a couple hundred miles of the PCH you know it transcends mundanity as it traverses terrain, crossing through everything from parched hills dotted with scrub oak to the massive redwood forests of the great North.
The PCH Bedroom Series may not contain that kind of aesthetic diversity, but it does possess a good dose of intriguing contrast. With primary materials of cast aluminum and light-toned teak, PCH offers an amiable juxtaposition that also makes for good bedfellows, as the aluminum is distressed just enough to match the textural quality of the wood.
The flagship piece of PCH is a formidable Canopy Bed, whose towering teak posts are tall enough to make a grand impression yet lean enough to remain true to scale. The Four-Drawer Dresser enjoys the lovely linearity of an ocean view, while offering “an abundance of storage unparalleled to any other dresser.” Lastly, the Night Table, with its engaging cast aluminum front and hidden storage niche, is an apt accompaniment to the towering Canopy Bed.
