The Evolution of the Bath: Gaia Corian with Wood Veneer Inlay by Bazzeo
In mythology, Gaia refers to the Goddess of the Earth. Philosophically, the word refers to a complex idea about how the living and nonliving components of the Earth function as a single harmonious system. Both of these meanings apply to the Gaia bathroom vanity by eco-friendly kitchen and bath company Bazzeo, which manufactures its products in the United States, primarily using materials also made domestically. Bazzeo believes that kitchens and baths can help to save the planet—one room at a time.

Bathroom Vanity Combines Solid Surface Counter and Inlaid Wooden Waves
The Gaia vanity fulfills Bazzeo’s mission to “integrate technology, function and the aesthetic into a single interpretation” (very apropos of the product’s name—see previous definition of Gaia). Combining Corian with a veneer inlay, this bathroom vanity juxtaposes a rectangular shape with curvilinear details—undulating wooden bands resembling sand that’s been shaped by waves. The resulting piece of bathroom furniture fits in with clean contemporary décor while also complementing spa-like retreats. The organic allure of the snaking inlay is very Zen.
Gaia isn’t just named in honor of the Earth. Bazzeo pays attention to sustainability. The kitchen and bath company uses recycled and regenerated wood from certified resources, non-toxic laminates and veneers, and non-toxic paints and lacquers. Additionally, Bazzeo maintains a zero-waste manufacturing facility and pays attention to how its products are packed and shipped.
About the Manufacturer: Bazzeo manufactures earth friendly kitchens and baths. Made in the United States at their factory in Secaucus, New Jersey, Bazzeo products are eco-centric and contemporary.
