Niagara’s Water-Saving Sava Showerhead
In my several attempts at upgrades to an appropriately millennial infrastructure in my kitchen and bathroom, I’ve yet to manage a rain-style showerhead—though I have indulged in this perk at the house of a better-heeled relative. But in all my yearning for said luxuriant showerhead, I never imagined one of them could save water too. That is, until I encountered the Sava Showerhead by Niagara.
Sava Showerhead. Manufactured by Niagara.
Niagara’s Sava Showerhead is a Seamless Blend of Performance, Luxury, and Sustainability
Sava is an attractive Showerhead available in a chrome or white finish. It features a 360 degree ball and swivel style joint for fast pinpoint adjustment; rubber spray nozzles for easy maintenance; a corrosion resistant body made of ABS thermoplastic (which is also impact resistant); and an extra large 4.4” diameter.
All of that is good information to be sure—and a godsend over the long term as Sava forestalls failures and the consequent owner frustrations—but the real story here is the mechanism by which Sava saves copious amounts of water.
Niagara’s patented pressure compensator is at the heart of the above proposition, as it ensures a consistent flow, regardless of oscillations in water pressure. This function staves off the inevitable and annoying superfluous pressure, as well as the even more annoying insufficient pressure, to maintain a stable quantity of water throughout the entire shower.
About the Manufacturer: For 33 years, Niagara Conservation Association has done their part to teach about water conservation purely by example. The company manufactures low-flow toilets, showerheads, and faucet aerators, including the innovative Stealth UHET 0.8GPF Toilet. The company has also helped to instruct the country’s major utility providers—of natural gas, electricity, and water—in techniques to maximize natural resources: “Scores of government leaders, energy management officials and community-based conservation directors have called on Niagara to help customize their programs with innovative, turn-key conservation solutions.”
