The Wonderous Wall-Mounted Cooker Hoods by Elica
In an ode to the beauty of Elica cooker hoods (after reading a post we wrote here on 3rings two and half years ago), here’s to their Italian design that keeps overhead kitchen design real. In a place where comfort food and ergonomic design thrive, the kitchen is an especially difficult spot to infuse new shapes, styles and positions into its ever- functional world of appliances. Thanks to the entire Wall-Mounted Collection by Elica, however, we’re able to traverse into the tiny flat-screen TV footprint that are the Bubble, Arch and Elektra HP cooker hoods.

Put the Arch, Bubble or Elektra HP Cooker Hoods by Elica On the Kitchen Wall for Stylized Air Circulation.
There’s something for everyone in the line-up of wall-mounted cooker hoods by Elica, but I took the liberty of picking out just three of mine to start off on the right foot. Hypothetically speaking, if my amazing kitchen had a huge industrial oven to cook great food for all of the galas I’d be throwing, the Arch would be the best choice. It’s their latest, wall-mounted, curved glass, chimney hood with stainless steel. Including a huge 450 m3h motor that is virtually silent, the Arch comes in a 60cm or 90cm width to lie cleanly against the wall.
Bubble, on the other hand, is what they call “a reinterpretation of how the kitchen is seen”. If my home were a bit funky, a little retro, and definitely containing some fun Marimekko aprons or tablecloths, I’d opt for the black, white or silver Bubble wall-mounted cooker hood. It comes in a neat 60cm width and has a top or rear ducting system with optional chimney kits available.
Lastly, for super sleek and cleaned up kitchen effect, the Elektra HP is one of Elica’s “increasingly popular” vertical hoods. This 55cm or 80cm wide model comes with a chimney kit and is done in stainless steel. Powered by a touch controlled motor that produces up to 800 m3h, it somehow is able to lie virtually flush against the wall.
Whether its the Arch, Bubble, Elektra HP or the other dozen-plus range hood designs that your kitchen might fancy, it’s never too late to ditch the old and bring in the new style that Elica is known for.
