Svvving models invite "the small pleasures of life, these few moments of happiness and dreams that allow a pause and a little detachment from everyday reality." Installing a swing in the middle of your house, apartment, or office sends a clear message: enjoy the moment by celebrating the ecstasy of childhood. As crazy as it may seem, Svvving designs actually work with most interiors, regardless of style. From modern to minimal, easy to extravagant, the swings are elegant and refined enough to share space with Barcelona chairs and Artichoke lamps. They might just become the millennial equivalent to Eero Aarnio's 1968 Bubble Chair.

Each Svvving is named evocatively. Faust is an all-black number with black leather vachette, black polished lacquer, and black cordage. Mars, as you might surmise, is predominantly red, though the red cotton seat has black buttons-perhaps to represent the inky galaxy in which the red planet hangs. As romantic as the opera, La Boheme is a rich brown number with an embroidered brown vachette and a walnut satin finish. Models feature upholstered seats in cotton, leather, suede, and wool; wooden frames in satin varnished walnut, polished lacquer, and colored varnish; and cordage in black, white, red, and gray. All Svvvings measure 80 cm x 33 cm (about 31 x 13 inches)-not so large as to be impossible though they require large areas due to their arc.

About the Manufacturer: Svvving manufactures luxury residential swings for interiors. The company's nineteen models were created by Marie Najdovski and Radek Podsiadlo, designers who split their time between France and Poland. The line of adult swings is completely "handcrafted with care and passion."
