Wrapped and Hung: The Brilliantly Round Woolball Woven Sphere Lights by ilanel Design Studio.

Custom, or made-to-order Woolball lights, are woven with attention to direction for a slight differentiation from one segment to the next. Their bold presence comes from their large size, as well as the way in which light flows through the miniscule spaces between the threads. Australia-based designer Ilan.el is the creator of these ceiling hung lamps – who has created everything from architectural wonders to lighting and whimsical spaces – and his ilanel Studio is such where all of the above come together.

Place the large lamp sculptures over a dining table or in a living room for a look brimming with an opulence that is richly independent of chandeliers or pendant lights. With Ilan.el’s successful background and education in architecture and the design field, he makes each Woolball as a hanging pendant light that will stand out from the rest in scale and material usage.
