As partial as I am to discussing interior products, I find outdoor design a fascinating field that many companies don’t risk. It reminds me of the standards set for the contract market of hospitality, education and healthcare design except with the added necessity of enduring all elements – not just the wear and tear of daily use and cleaning, but strong winds, rainstorms, and UV rays. Today I get the opportunity to show off an outdoor-friendly textile design by CF Stinson that they call the Day Dream Collection.

CF Stinson Creates the Day Dream Collection In Modern Floral and Circular Designs

The Day Dream Collection by CF Stinson was, as they say, “inspired by imagery of the lazy relaxed days of summer”. In the Bloom, Firefly and Wish textile patterns, each are high performance fabrics that use 100% solution dyed fibers to handle the great outdoors in stride. Using saturated colors and details woven into every inch of their design, the trio of patterns resist fading and have antibacterial & antifungal properties to keep them beautiful through and through.

The Bloom, Firefly and Wish designs come in a 54″ width and in up to nine different colorways a piece. Winning the Best of NeoCon Silver Award this year, they floral, modern chain-like and wheel-like designs are soft to the touch and hard core to nature. Green Guard® certified for children and schools, the fabrics are made bleach solution cleanable. The Bloom is made up of 71% Sunbrella® Solution Dyed Acrylic and 29% Sunbrella® Solution Dyed Polyester, the Firefly is made up of 61% Sunbrella® Solution Dyed Acrylic and 39% Sunbrella® Solution Dyed Polyester, and the Wish design 72% Sunbrella® Solution Dyed Acrylic and 28% Sunbrella® Solution Dyed Polyester – each strong enough to withstand the pressures placed on it from the environment.
