After years of refining their expertise – honed in New York City, Chicago, France, and Los Angeles – the individual interior design careers of Coryne Lovick and Matthew Lanphier speak for themselves.

But recently, they’ve launched their own company, L&L Design, that surfaces the old and new of fabulous furniture designs with one-of-a-kind pieces like the Zebra Chair and Ottoman.

Recently featured on fab.com, and with their store on etsy.com, the designing duo is hitting up the online scene with modern fashions for the home. Their website states that they are all about choosing “fabrics of the highest quality, vintage and new, to create unique and exquisite furniture items and accessories for the well-lived life.” Just as the Zebra Chair and Ottoman’s wild side shines through the angular legs with the wide, cowhide print, no less is expected from the future of L&L Design.

Set to the tune of the 1950s, the Zebra Chair аnd Ottoman set is upcycled and reupholstered. With this process comes the knife-edge details, leather buttons, a the satin finish on the black finish of the arms and legs that cast out a bold feel with their strong lines. The set, among other items, is available through the L&L Design boutique on etsy fοr $4,800.

About the Designers: L&L Design is made up of Coryne Lovick and Matthew Lanphier of Los Angeles, CA. The two formed L&L Design out of old and new furnishings with upcycled and reupholstered finishing touches after having made their careers in interior design after studying at some of the finest fashion institutes (New York and LA) as we well as architecture schools in Illinois and Versailles, France.
