Look and Learn: Projector Lectern by Bretford
Long gone are the days of educational films running along on old film projectors. The click, click, clicking sound that once lulled students to sleep has been silenced. Now, more teachers simply use a computer that’s connected to a projector—and students get to enjoy professional PowerPoint presentations and entertaining YouTube videos. The change in technology has necessitated new designs in multimedia carts. Thankfully, educational contract company Bretford has answered the call with a complete line of mobile carts, including their Projector Lectern.

The Bretford Projector Lectern measures a compact 30” wide x 45” high x 18” deep, and yet it has everything teachers need to set up their laptop computers, projectors, and documents cameras. The lectern features a large, laminate platform with a retaining lip to hold a laptop and a shelf to hold a projector. The platform can be positioned to the left or right, depending on the teacher’s preference and the room’s configuration. The Projector Lectern also includes two large shelves for storage that have grommets for cord management—so everything has its place.
Bretford offers lots of finish choices too, so schools can get their Projector Lecterns to coordinate with classroom furnishings. Laminate options include cherry, grey mist, grey nebula, maple, and oak; and trim and paint options include raven, grey mist, topaz, and aluminum. The Bretford Projector Lectern also complies with Greenguard Children and Schools Indoor Air Quality standards.
