Inspired by Water: Arima by Glass
I always like to look up product names in foreign dictionaries, just in case I’m missing some vital meaning—lost in translation, so to speak. But a search of the word Arima brings up nothing except a very specific process in the field of statistics and econometrics. Unless Italian bath company Glass has a designer with a secret penchant for numbers, the name of their spa doesn’t help me unlock any aesthetic secrets.
Arima Spa. Manufactured by Glass.
Luxurious Overflow Spa
It sounds musical, however, and that may be enough to characterize this interesting spa tub. Arima can be installed as a built-in or freestanding unit, indoors or out. Equipped with everything to help you relax, the Arima spa by Glass would be great even if its design weren’t so captivating. With whirlpool jets, airpool jets, and back and feet jets, Arima can erase any stresses of the day. The spa also features heater, waterfall, and chromotherapy.
As an overflow spa, Arima lets you luxuriate in the water. Its unique overflow design, with a surround that’s dotted with stone-shaped drains, mimics water falling over rocks. Available in dark grey, French grey, tortora, and white, Arima’s overflow grid and panels can change the overall feel of the spa. I like Arima in dark grey, because the color reminds me of the smooth stones that blanket river bottoms (and those, in turn, remind me of the wonderful feel of a hot stone massage).
