Cubrik Light from Santa and Cole
Originally introduced in 2005 from Santa & Cole, the Cubrik family has two hanging lamps of 36 and 100 plates. Cubrik owes it’s name to the famous Rubik cube that exploded into pop culture in the 80’s.
Cubrik. Designed by Antoni Arola. Manufactured by Santa & Cole.
Best described as retro modern, the cubical lamp is a throwback to a graphic style that also references an 8-bit influence. Cubrik is understated yet eye-catching, and offers a lampshade with adjustable plastic plates.
Designer Antoni Arola’s idea was that with Cubrik, you get one lamp that offers many possibilities for different arrangements and moods, so the consumer could change up their lamp at any time.
In addition to the suspended lamp, it is also available in a tabletop version and a flat wall light with 16 plates.
