Her fashion sense pops out of the brand new textile that uses vivid contrasts of color and shape to accentuate furniture for the interior and exterior home or commercial space. Trina Turk uses both black, white, and grey with yellow citrine in her Driftwood color scheme of the print, but upon viewing Cerise, Sea Green, and Ocean, it’s obvious that the designer’s expertise in colorful fashion through pattern comes across in every hue.
“The fabric’s dramatic scale is equally suited for curtains, upholstery and pillows,” says its description on the Schumacher website. With “its extra lightfastness”, they add, “both indoor and outdoor use” offer the versatility we seek in carrying a design through an entire space. The 100% acrylic fabric comes in a width of 54″ and has a vertical repeat of 36″.
Whether it’s a vintage coat dress (which provided Turk with the inspiration for the Tangier Frame Print) or a saturated sofa on your patio, the textile for the season comes in the form of high fashion.
