The Resink Line of Eco-Resin Lavatories by Bruno Bondanelli
If you’re sick of looking at plain white porcelain or stainless steel sinks, there’s a new material with a little kick that has recently hit the lavatory scene. Vibrant LED lights underneath the eco-resin material of Bruno Bondanelli‘s funky design takes the lavatory to an outer-planetary place.

If it weren’t for the name – ‘Resink‘ – which names the line, its functional side might be discounted and the design, a bit over the top. However, the Resink line of “eco-resin” lavatories designed by the architect, Bondanelli, AIA-LEED AP, was realized by a dynamic trio of designers that include Pericle Moretti and Giovanni Cucciardi.
“These original designs, made in Italy, redefine the bathroom experience with their organic shapes, LED lighting, and availability in any color; setting a new standard in lavatory design,” begins the product description. Since it uses tinted lighting to infuse color into not only the lavatory but through a glow in the surrounding space, they go on, mentioning how “the use of RGB-LED can also be implemented for a lavatory that changes color on rotation or on demand,” making it seem a bit like the horses from the land of Oz. All in all, there are five designs available in five colors that use non-toxic paints and are guaranteed to perform as well as standard plumbing fixtures of the similar vessel family.
