Barbara Jacobs studied fine arts in Florence, Italy, at the University of California- Berkeley and at the University of Minnesota before beginning her company. Since 1983 she has worked in many areas of surface design, using a variety of artistic and decorative finish techniques to create innovative color finishes, murals, and other furnishings for residential and commercial interiors. Her published articles on the subject of color design for the built environment have appeared all over the New England area and into the world of HGTV and CNN, etc. Jacobs is a fully accredited Color Consultant/Designer of the IACC, International Association of Color Consultants/Designers, and formerly of Color Marketing Group (CMG).
