Snaidero Group’s Time Collection
The Snaidero Group is the largest Italian manufacturer of high-end kitchen cabinets, with a 1.1 mil. sq. ft. manufacturing plant in Majano, 6 production facilities in Europe and distribution networks in 80 countries. Their moto, “Cucine per la vita” – kitchens for life, conveys their mission to design kitchens that withstand the test of time and improve quality of life. Bold? Sure, but not necessarily out of line. Designed for Snaidero by Roberto Lucci and Paolo Orlandini, the Time kitchen concept transforms the room into a functional and luxurious kitchen area.

Light form and horizontal lines are used to create the illusion of space. Ergonomics and functionality merge throughout the storage solutinos and accessorized units and a graceful and balanced layout is achieved through several elements: the symmetrical handles fitted on the edge of the cabinets’ doors, the horizontal stainless steel inlays set in the wood and the curved hood which contrasts the linearity of the cabinetry design. The base units can be supported by a toe kick or by metal legs for a lighter design. The upper units are available with frosted glass panels.
Snaidero’s offers great option for more traditional kitchen layouts – from slightly traditional to very modern. They’re a go-to company when your space is on the larger side – capable of fitting a full-kitchen ensemble, island and all. Within confined city apartments – you’re probably better off with another alternative (check out a favorite of mine: Boffi’s On/Off kitchen, designed by Alberto Colonello, transforms from a solid paneled wall into a full-functioning, gourmet kitchen nearly instantaneously).
