Veritas ResinArt™ is the do-it-yourself decorative resin panel: “a system of design components including color, texture, prints and materials” can be specified singly or combined to create infinite iterations. Choose from standard PMS® colors or create a custom-mixed pigment, numerous surface textures and either a standard or customized encapsulated interlayer material of your choosing. “From small-scaled, tailored patterns and perforated metal simulations to larger-scaled, multi-layered geometric and botanical-inspired designs,” the possibilities are literally endless.

Although the plethora of options may be enticing to the control-driven designer, it could cause anxiety and confusion for others.  Hence the introduction of off-the-shelf stock items created by design professionals. Eric Mailaender and his small New York City architecture and interior design firm Resistance, have created three ready-made ResinArt™ panels: Landscape, Fishnet and Clearnet, innately urban materials that are deliberate studies of transparency and opacity (little decision making required.) Other renowned artists and designers have created their own feature designs, ranging from traditional to contemporary sensibilities and transparent and opaque designs. Shaw-Jelveh Design has developed a series composed of nine prints including tailored patterns, perforated metal simulations and multi-layered geometric and botanical-inspired designs. “Taking inspiration, art and technology one step further, Shaw-Jelveh cut contemporary patterns into delicate, real-wood veneers, unveiling the versatility and flexibility of Veritas™ ResinArt™ Panels.” Although selecting the panels themselves may be simplified by the off-the shelf options(or increasingly difficult given the ever-expanding number of possibilities) there are inevitably other decisions to be made.

Veritas™ “kit of parts” continues to grow. Beyond the resin-panels themselves, there is a world of options for installation. Veritas™ has created seven hardware systems to mount ResinArt™ Panels in place whether on the floor, wall, or ceiling. Cable & Rod is a stainless steel cable and rod system designed for suspending Veritas panels in either horizontal or vertical installations. For free-standing partitions (divider walls, cubicles or displays) the custom aluminum pole system, Mast, is available in six variations. The pole or post is the foundation of the system (available in various types) and can be mounted directly to the floor or operate as a free-standing pedestal. Rail enables the ResinArt™ panels to operate as vertical elements within a railing system. Other possibilities include the installation of ResinArt™ panels within window openings or mounted on ceilings for the diffusion of standard lighting.
