Here’s a bit more personal information about myself: I have a beautiful seven-year old baby sister whom I absolutely adore (and spoil). So while I am attending these design trade events, I very much enjoy spending some time examining children’s furniture.

Today, I came across Greenplay, manufactured by Skyline Design. Greenplay is a children’s environment developed as a component system, crafted from a palette of recycled, renewable, and low impact materials. Additionally, all coatings have low or zero VOC emissions. Greenplay is backed with three years of research and development; Skyline is committed to the creation of beautiful, long lasting products that are healthy for both one’s children and also the planet. Materials have been carefully evaluated and only then integrated into the design process. Skyline considers not only the material palette but also efficiencies of material yield, reduction of secondary finishing processes, and disassembly of the product for recycle.
