Among Teknion’s fresh introductions were the Wall Rail System (WRS), Marini Executive Chair designed by Conrad Marini and the Optos curved wall. I also had the pleasure of meeting Danish design team Acer Design. The Teknion/Acer partnership got off the a running start with product prototypes from Acer displayed in the showroom as tester pieces — open for review and feedback from show attendees. Modularity, flexibility, functionality and luxury were key factors in all the Acer prototypes, which included a fold-up high-end conference table and a modular sofa system.
