Designer Pages Brand Index, November 1, 2014 - January 31, 2015

In this edition of the Designer Pages Brand Index (DP Brand Index), two consumer-facing brands break into the top ten. As we look at the last 90 days and identify the top contract interior brands with respect to two factors: Popularity and Intent, big box retailers West Elm and CB2 place 5 and 8 respectively.

Chris Taylor, President, Designer Pages says of the surprising findings: ”The blurring of the lines between B2C brands and B2B brands was highlighted by the recent Herman Miller acquisition of Design Within Reach. The presence of CB2 and West Elm in this months index seems to suggest that this might be a trend gaining momentum.”
