The GTG combines a high end Asian restaurant that incorporates a fine patisserie and a special bar.
The centerpiece of the restaurant is the open Japanese Robata grill, which reaches temperatures close to 1000°C powered by special charcoal.
The restaurant is divided into two parts, the bar and lounge area with its patisserie and the guest area with the open grill. The patisserie with its counter and its mirrored buffet is located directly at the entrance in the lobby on street level.
Right next to it and easily reached over a few steps you’ll find the dimly-lit bar on a slightly higher level. Anthracite-colored carpets line the walls to create a muted acoustic and a comfortable atmosphere.
The 80 seater restaurant with its visible open charcoal grill is furnished in dark hues like umbra, chestnut and ebony accented with strong colors like orange, red and copper. The chairs are the Doll dining chairs by Italian brand Billiani. The tables and lights are ett la benn’s own designs.
The cool materials like glass, shale and grey marble that are used in the grill area are complemented by warm materials like the brushed oak of the tables. A spot lighting system illuminates the dining tables and dishes in pre-defined areas, but without casting a glare onto diners. Curtains of translucent copper-colored mesh are hung in the windows creating an intimate and comfortable atmosphere.
In complete contrast to the restaurant the interior of the toilets and corridor downstairs are decorated in bright white, clean geometrical lines and fluorescent tube lighting.
