Lakewood Cemetery’s Garden Mausoleum

A solemnly beautiful Garden Mausoleum is located within one of the country’s most beautiful cemeteries, Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis, Minnesota, was designed by Joan Soranno, FAIA and John Cook FAIA, both with HGA Architects and Engineers. The design combines both the art and science of architecture, and is fostered by the architect’s passion for translating the weighty, powerful and authentic issues of life and death into transformative architecture.
