Healthcare Interior Design Competition Winners

The IIDA has announced the winners of the inaugural Healthcare Interior Design Competition, an international Interior Design competition honoring and celebrating outstanding originality and excellence in the planning and design of healthcare interior spaces.

Winners were announced in four categories that included Ambulatory Care Centers, Hospice Care, Hospitals, and Senior Living & Residential Health, Care, and Support Facilities. The Best of Competition was selected from the Best of Category winners.

Recognition was given to the following award winners in four categories and project types:

The winners of the competition were selected from over 100 submissions from around the globe by a panel of interior design professionals, who specialize in healthcare interiors. The jury included:

  • Amy Lopez, IIDA, AAHID, Vice President, Smith Seckman Reid, Inc. in Houston, Texas
  • Peggy Noakes, FIIDA, AAHID, LEED AP, EDAC, VP, Director of Consulting for American Art Resources in Houston, Texas

Winners will be featured in the October issue of Healthcare Design magazine, as well as on the IIDA website.
