Carl Hansen & Son Acquires P.J. Furniture

Carl Hansen & Son has recently acquired P.J. Furniture. This new acquisition expands Carl Hansen’s portfolio designed by, among others, architect Ole Wanscher.

‘The Colonial Chair’ was originally designed by Wanscher in 1949 when he was fascinated with 1700 English furniture design; it wasn’t until the mid-50s that P.J. Furniture produced the chair and has been in production ever since. Now for the first time ‘The Colonial Chair’ will be widely available in the U.S.
