In July 2012, Vitra will be holding a competition on its Facebook page in which entrants will have the chance of winning one of five iconic Tip Ton chairs signed by Barber Osgerby. In an interview that can be found on Vitra’s Facebook page, the designers tell the manifold stories of their two recent projects and sign five Tip Tons in colors similar to the rings in the Olympic logo which will be raffled off.
The British designers Edward Barber and Jay Osgerby are the authors of several products that have recently hit the headlines. Most talked about are the elegantly perforated torch, which carries the Olympic flame to the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London, as well as the innovate and versatile Tip Ton chair for Vitra.
The competition runs from July 2 to August 1, 2012.
