*Robert S. Merritt was named Chief Executive Officer and President of Benjamin Moore & Co., replacing Denis Abrams who headed the company for seven years.
*Laura Morris, IIDA, LEED AP has joined Perkins+Will as Associate Principal, and a leader in the Washington DC Interior Design practice.
*Lindsay Murphy, Design Team Director, has been named an Associate at VeenendaalCave.
*John J. Plezbert was named business development director in the Chicago office of URS Corporation’s Infrastructure & Environment Division. In his new position, Mr. Plezbert will lead business development efforts with both public- and private-sector clients.
*Corey A. VanHouten, PE, was hired as lead electrical engineer and senior associate in HGA Architects and Engineers’ Rochester, Minn. office. He will direct integrated electrical systems for HGA’s growing client base in healthcare, higher education, commercial and community work throughout the Rochester area.
