The Merchandise Mart has announced that in the coming months a reconfiguration of several floors of the building will commence to better accommodate three key industries: the Residential Design Center, the casual/outdoor furnishing showrooms, and the gift industry. The new layout will offer designers and buyers more enjoyable, seamless experiences while shopping the vast showroom offerings.
The Design Center includes the world’s leading showrooms including HOLLY HUNT, Baker, Dessin Fournir, David Sutherland, Henredon, JANUS et Cie, Stark, and Century, among others; together Design Center showrooms represent 3,000 brand lines. These design stalwarts will soon be more conveniently and beautifully showcased on floors six and 14 of The Mart, while LuxeHome’s exquisite kitchen and bath boutiques will remain on The Mart’s first floor.
