50 Books/50 Covers of 2010

Visit the AIGA National Design Center to see a showcase of the year’s best-designed books and book covers, selected by a distinguished jury for the 50 Books/50 Covers of 2010 design competition. The exhibition is open to the public, admission is free, and it runs December 8, 2011–February 23, 2012.

AIGA, the professional association for design, has held the “50 Books/50 Covers” competition to recognize excellence in book design and production since 1923. The selections help to demonstrate the role of the designer and the value of design in both the publishing industry and our collective visual culture.

The selections are also available online in the AIGA Design Archives, where viewers can see additional images, project statements and jurors’ comments.
