Allsteel has added a new option to its portfolio of products with the recent accreditation to manufacture using wood certified by the Forest Stewardship Council.
To qualify for this latest status, Allsteel’s manufacturing facilities and procedures had to undergo a third-party audit, which was conducted by Scientific Certification Systems (SCS). Attaining the FSC certification promotes the use of responsibly harvested wood as it passes through the supply chain from forest, to milling and on to use in finished products. Allsteel is incorporating the FSC certified wood into the construction of its products based upon individual job specifications.
