Teknion Corporation announced that two of its new products – the Conflux LED Light and Teknion Powermat Accessories Collection – received Innovation Awards at IIDEX/NeoCon Canada, which runs September 23-24 at The Direct Energy Centre in Toronto. In addition, Teknion’s booth received a Bronze Award in the 800-square-foot-plus category.
Conflux is a full scope of LED lighting products including versions for desk, table, floor, beneath overhead cabinets, and panel or wall mount. Conflux introduces innovative design and technology advancements to LED lighting. The result is a better quality of light – similar to daylight – with less shadow and glare. Conflux was also honored with a Best of NeoCon Gold Award in Chicago in June of this year.
Themed Design Does Matter, Teknion’s 1,200-square-foot booth was constructed with a 16-foot-high surround suspended off the floor. This floating wall created a unique enclosure, directing the visitor’s attention to various configurations of the District furniture system, while also creating an illusion of spaciousness as the floor extends visually past the wall-defined space. The all-white exterior symbolizes the designer’s blank white page where anything is possible, and the interior features blue-sky imagery to infer limitless imagination.
