Herman Miller has launched its new Materials Program allowing designers access to the manufacturer’s entire materials and finishes library at their fingertips. The online database replicates the experience of standing in front of a materials wall, where one can peruse options and mix and match choices, with a cool materials map that arranges little color coordinated thumbnails of every material available with Herman Miller products. As the search narrows, thumbnails are eliminated from the map, and the remaining choices zoom in.
