Poliform Introduces Its 2013 Collection

Comprising three armchairs, a sofa, a table and a bed, Italian brand Poliform launched its new collection at last month’s Salone del Mobile in Milan.

Poliform’s 2013 Collection features the work of design heavyweights Jean-Marie Massaud, Marcel Wanders and Rodolfo Dordoni.

Appearing like a cross between a chaise longue and an armchair, the Mad armchair is the work of Dutch designer Marcel Wanders. The one-armed, upholstered seat has soft rounded edges which are complimented by the tapered, turned oak legs.

Named after the upmarket beach in Rio de Janerio, the Ipanema bed by Jean Marie Massaud is a refined design that combines an oak frame with an upholstered base and headboard.

Also part of Jean-Marie Massaud’s Ipanema line is the Ipaneama armchair. With a relaxed Brazilian beachside style, the low slung armchair’s oak frame and removable seat pad is perfect for relaxation.

The linear graphic lines of its gray-painted metal frame lend Rodolfo Dordoni’s Host table an industrial aesthetic. The substantial table top is available in marble or painted glass with a black-painted wooden surround.

Plump feather-filled cushions are supported by a narrow wrap around frame on Jean-Marie Massaud’s Bristol sofa system. With variety of different-sized sofa’s, corner units, armchairs and chaise longues to choose from, a wide variety of compositions can be created.

Perfect for use as a dining chair, this lightweight upholstered design by Jean-Marie Massaud features bronze-painted metal legs and a comfortable arched seat.
