Satellight by Eugeni Quitllet for Foscarini

Inspired by a dream, Barcelona-based Eugeni Quitllet created Satellight for Foscarini to mimic the sun. In his dream the designer envisioned grasping a piece of the sun and holding it tight in his hands before trapping it under a glass ball.

Inspired, Quitllet designed a table lamp that appears to be levitating. Made of blown satin glass, each LED lamp contains a milky white diffuser that is encapsulated inside a clear piece of glass that together emit a soft, gentle light.
