Knoll Executive: A Desk Ahead of Its Time

Now available from Knoll, The Florence Knoll Executive Desk is a modern classic that looks just as stylish today as it did when it debuted in 1961.

With an impossibly slim worktop of an MDF core and wood veneer, the Executive Desk embraced negative space and re-defined an executive’s role: “Believing that an executive’s desk should be a tool to facilitate communication, Knoll designed it to serve as both a desk and table in order to promote collaboration.”

Features include pencil-thin pencil drawers of solid maple; heavy-gauge welded steel frame and legs; and a four star base with adjustable steel glides and chrome finish.

Knoll offers multiple options for the worktop veneer: mahogany, ebonized or natural oak, walnut, teak, and rosewood. The KnollStudio logo and Florence Knoll’s signature are stamped into the table’s base, assuring authenticity.
